Most of you know that I've spent the whole Saturday and half of Sunday at Power Profit Affiliate Workshop.

I didn't take many photos but have this one for you. I think I look like putting some weight... or do I really look like that? :)




This workshop was the first conducted by Patric Chan on the subject of Affiliate Marketing. I asked him if he was going to organize a few more like this in the future and he said 'yes'.

Now, here is a few tips that I brought back from the workshop. Take it seriously... they are the tips that come from a super affiliate himself.

1. Have a proper mindset before you do anything. Affiliate marketing is a business although you are not selling your own products.

2. Market research is very important. Find the topic that you like to do first, followed by the topic that you know. If you can't find any, generate your ideas by looking at newspaper, magazines, household surrounding, eBay.com and many more places.

3. Which affiliate business models you want to follow? Strategize your business. What should you do after you run Pay-per-Click campaign? How to keep your prospects glued to your offer? What's next?

4. Different affiliate marketing business models require different strategies in marketing. You can apply the fast result strategies, but that will only apply if you follow the right business model. The other might take a long route but it can be more stable than the other.

5. What's the next step after your first affiliate marketing website is successful? You want to take your business to the next level, don't you? How about creating a product?

As you can see, I've listed a few tips only on the surface.

There is a lot of information that I've got on the workbook that it's simply impossible for me to write them all here.

All I can say is that you can still get a lot of tips from Patric even if you've done affiliate marketing for quite some time. I mean, I have done affiliate marketing for over 3 years now and my Power Profit Affiliate Marketing Workshop workbook is still full of new information.
